i was talking to my music teacher about me screaming ( yes as in screamo music) and he told be i was damaging my vocal chords because girls don't have a secondary set of vocal chords like guys do.
does anyone else know this for a fact?Either you misunderstood her, or she's a moron. I pray you just misunderstood her.
Edit: Screaming is bad for your voice, regardless of your sex, unless you manage to learn how to do it after having good vocal training. Regardless, men don't have two sets of vocal cords.i have never heard that before in my life

yes that is a fact :D im in chours (or i was quit today my teachers i fag)Never heard that before... I've heard girls scream well before without damaging their voice, but then again there are a lot fewer girls that can do it than guys. Maybe it just takes girls longer to get good at.men and women have different sizes of their vocal folds.
